Day 355 - Wednesday - Singapore - A petit luxury

Thanks to my friend,  we got a last minute reservation at Iggy's ..
A visiting italian chef  from  Il Ghiottone (Tokyo and Kyoto, Japan)  is in Singapore for a 3 day special dinner. It's his last day, so with no hesitation I booked a table, gathered my fave friends  and enjoyed a wonderful evening filled with beautiful delicious food , great companionship and new encounters...

Disclaimer: I don't really like to take photos of food in fine restaurants because it's pretty rude.. But this dinner course is worth keeping a memory regardless!

The special 7 courses menu
At a glance $295 per person for 7 course maybe pricey, especially in a country where average simple meal can be $10 per person! But the experience is priceless! And the quality... You see for yourself!

1- Mozzarella..
Can you guess where the mozzarella?
It's stretched and presented like egg white! Creative, huh?

2- Capellini...
With tuna, nagaimo, bottarga ...
This combination is very Italian- Japanese..
There's a magic in the mix that opened up your tastebuds!
Sawayaka ( fresh!)

3- Amadai...
With sea urchins, Brussels sprouts,

kidney beans and tarragon..
The fish is so sweet!

4- Tagliatelle:
you guessed it. Comes with truffles !
Almost everyone's fave !
The symphony of jamon, truffle and Parmesan
in your mouth is just tantalizing ...

5- Caramelized onion tart
Comes with foie gras and cappuccino

with passion fruit...
Interesting but maybe a bit too rich for me ...

6- Wagyu... Love love!
And the mix with nano Hana ( mustard green)

is just perfect..
I love nano Hana which has a tangy flavor!

8- Espresso panna cotta
Comes with milk ice cream!
Ok! I was already very stuffed by onion tart course but,
as they say, there's another tummy space for dessert..
And that's what happened!

An elegant and delicate wine, recommended by Iggy's to pair our diner
Blissfully stuffed! petit luxury is so needed to pamper myself from time to time!

Today I am thankful for: Iggy's owner, its team and Il Ghiottone chef and team (Speical mention for the Maitre D coming from Kyoto) for pampering us with their love for food and dining exeprience! You can feel the love
